I've just devoured a WHOLE tub of Co-op's own Chocolate Ice Cream in ONE sitting.
Anyone else have this problem when they sit down with yummy food?

Once a bag of haribo / jelly babies / [insert pretty much any sweet here] has been opened there's no stopping me - even when I start to feel a bit sick or my teeth start to feel a bit funky
OMG Haribo Tangtastics' are so good!! I sometimes go thru phazes where I get cravings for Kiddie sweets like Jelly Tots and Milk Bottles. I'm also fond of Sherbet Fountains... And in their 3 bags for a £1 range, Asda's do these amazing sweets called 'Ice Cream Sundaes' which are just to die for.
Its fair to say, I have a sweet tooth or 4. I'm one of those people who has to look at the Dessert menu wherever I go!! Sometimes, even before I check out the main course menu.
haha, at uni we used to pop to Spoons for tea quite a bit (usually when there weren't any clean things to cook with) and we'd quite often end up having chocolate fudge cake instead of a main meal!
Hmmm, that sounds good.. I think if I had to choose my fave dessert, I'd have to go with the classic Bannoffee Pie.. But I generally am keen on anything that contains toffee / caramel, chocolate (White Choc is my fave), apple etc etc. I do like the odd bit of Apple Crumble.. However, I am not really a fan of Cinnamon. On the subject of Ice Cream, whilst it was the Chockie flavoured one that started this thread, Co-op's Toffee ice cream is possibly even better.. And Carte D'or Creme Caramel is heaven in ice cream form.
I've not long just eaten a takeaway Chicken Korma complete with pilau rice, naan bread and poppadoms, washed down with a can of Cream Soda; once again, I feel like a bloated whale. Here in my lil village, we have a Indian takeaway and a super-duper Chinese one (where instead of the 'kitchen' being hidden behind closed doors and hearing the sounds of microwaves pinging, you can see straight thru into the kitchen and see them cooking it infront you), however at the very top of my road, on the corner, that are getting to open an Indian Restaurant - woop! I should be about 30st with the amount that I consume!!
I'm a fan of the Peanut Butter Kit Kat Chunky... But a visit to a local co-op has led to me discover the newest addition to the Kit Kat Chunky Range....the CARAMEL chunky.. Wooooooo.
I've also lately been rediscovering my love of Blackcurrent & Liquorice boiled sweets.. They bring back memories of my childhood. Yum.
I made buns last night for the office as someone is leaving to go on maternity today (really we don't need much of an excuse to eat rubbish here!), so was up at 5.30 this morning to decorate them... eating buttercream at 6am might be a new low for me.
OMG... Low? That sounds like the best brekkie ever to me.. I LOVE buttercream.. Especially Betty Crocker's Vanilla buttercream.
We had someone leave at my work today too. No buns were made, but it is tradition to head around to the local after work, and help the escapee celebrate with a drink or 6.
TODAY WAS PANCAKE DAY... How was everyones evening? How many did you manage to eat? My record is 7, to be fair, it was about 13 years ago, when I was about 13 or 14... Tonight, I only managed 4.
Does anyone have favourite Pancake fillings??
I totally forgot about making any pancakes, booooo.
I'm a sucker for a drizzle of Lyle's Golden Syrup on mine, in fact it is almost all I will ever take on a pancake. Although there used to be an awesome little place outside Central Station in Glasgow called the Pancake House which specialised in, you've guessed it, savoury pancakes and crepes. Their mushroom stroganoff pancake was the best thing ever.
You forgot? HOW did you manage that...
Golden Syrup on Pancakes rule. I found a Pancake & Waffle place in Brum; its in the centre (which I've forgotten the name of) around the back end of the Town Hall. Must go there on my next visit!
Ever tried Apple Sauce in your pancake? Now there's a filling. Tis good.
